Wordless Wednesday: What comes down, must go up.

Wednesday, 11 July 2012

BabyMoo refuses to get on top of the slide the regular way, despite Daddy's warnings. He waited till Mummy took over the supervising duties, before proceeding to climb the wrong way up and sliding down on his own.

"BabyMoo!! Come Back Down! You're going to hurt yourself if you slip and fall!"
(screams a worried me)

- Ah... it's only Mummeh. She's but chopped liver. -

Being a very good boy with Daddy.

Mischievous mind at work. Assessing the situation. Thinking that he's able to do it.
...and deciding that perhaps the yellow slide in the middle would be safer.

And off he goes!

Somehow the slide down is so much more satisfying.
No hesitation, even without the assuring presence of Daddy.

I suppose defying the law of gravity is what boys love to do.

  1. Oh gosh, watching him scale Mt Orange/Yellow Everest is giving me butterflies in my tummy!
He's a very brave boy. Make sure you turn on those taps the day he (like Daddy) wants to take his biking license.

    1. Ya lah... he's a go-getter. His curiosity will just override his fears most times.

I was at a loss. I couldn't climb up because he was already halfway up and I needed to be below, just in case - and I couldn't climb up *with him* because I was too old and would risk falling together with him! Haha!

  2. Your Caden is going to be a Go-Go-Go boy in future. No use worrying, just teach him how to be safe, play safe n defend himself.

    1. Yah... that's what we can only do lor, because telling him *not to* do things is akin to him doing it even more!

  3. That looks like a really fun place for toddlers. Glad that Cayden enjoyed himself there.
